MMPPYK Leather Clochette with Ceramic Padlock

Full grain Italian leather clochette necklaces designed to discretely conceal keys. Comes with a hand sculpted ceramic padlock pendant. A modern playful interpretation of a heritage piece. Each hand crafted in Gushi Studio. 

The "MMPPYK Clochette" features a cobalt blue full grain leather that has been painted on using the bianchetto technique notoriously used by Martin Margiela. The image which emerges references that of Phoebe Philo's Yves Klein print dress of 2017 during her tenure at Celine. A homage to all three if you will. 
This iteration's padlock is rendered entirely in glazed stoneware and employs trompe l'oeil technique to mimic the weight, patina and aged metal surface of a well-worn lock. 

Materials: Full grain cobalt blue Italian Leather, leather 5mm cord sourced from France, waxed cord stitching, waterproof white paint, Bmix with grog ceramic clay, Palladium Amaco glaze, 18k gold plated and gold toned hardware.

Color: Blue and white hand stitched with white cord, mirrored padlock. Long cording is a matching cobalt blue.
